We’re thrilled to share some exciting updates on what’s coming down the pipeline for our Ori Learning community and partners. Our team has been hard at work designing fresh, grade-banded courses and resources that we know will make a big difference for both educators and students. Here’s the inside scoop on what to expect—and why we think it matters.
Exciting Additions to Our Transition & Emotional Well-being Curriculum

Grade-Banded Transition Courses
We’re rolling out seven new courses per grade band (Grades 9–10 and Grades 11–12) to cover the essential topics every student needs for college, career, and life success. Each course dives deep into:
- Self-Determination
- Education & Training
- Employment Readiness
- Social Skills
- Daily Living Skills
- Health & Wellness
- Financial Literacy
With 4 engaging lessons per course, 2 extension activities for each lesson, and 3 end-of-unit projects, we’re giving educators a ton of ready-to-use material. Plus, built-in pre and post assessments and step-by-step teacher guides help streamline planning and progress tracking.
Tailored Support & Accessibility
We know that every student is unique. That’s why we’re introducing:
- Tiered learning goals to help with IEP development and monitoring.
- Leveled worksheets designed specifically for students with mild to moderate abilities.
- Differentiated teaching tips to support and extend learning for all skill levels.
Combine these with Ori Learning’s existing accessibility toolkit—text-to-speech, speech-to-text, translation into 136+ languages, and flexible text-size adjustments—and you have a system that truly puts every learner first.
Skills Inventory Surveys
We’re launching Skills Inventory Surveys that help teachers identify individual student strengths and areas for growth. These surveys make it simpler than ever to assign just-right lessons and monitor progress over time. By homing in on each student’s starting point, we’re setting them up for real, measurable gains.
Functional Math & ELA Worksheets
We’ve created functional, real-world math and ELA worksheets to complement our transition curriculum. Now students can practice academic skills in scenarios that mirror everyday life—helping them see the direct link between what they learn and how they’ll use it.
Emotional Well-Being Home Connection Letters
We believe social-emotional learning can’t thrive without family involvement. Our new Home Connection Letters give caregivers practical tips to support their child’s growth at home. These letters share insights into lessons, key learnings, and ways families can reinforce them outside the classroom.
Looking Ahead
We can’t wait to see these new materials in action in the 2025–2026 school year. Whether you’re already an Ori Learning partner or considering joining us, we’re confident these updates will not only streamline your workflow but also enrich student engagement and success.
We’re committed to supporting every educator, student, and family member on this journey. Together, we’ll cultivate career-ready, emotionally intelligent, and empowered young people who can thrive in high school and beyond.
