Our Story

It Started With a Brother's Promise

Over a decade ago, our founder Jon Izak watched his younger brother, Oriel, navigate life with autism. While verbal communication was a challenge for Oriel, Jon recognized that his brother possessed profound visual learning capabilities that traditional tools simply weren’t tapping into.

Jon saw an opportunity to bridge that gap. Partnering with researchers at Boston Children’s Hospital (Harvard Medical School), he engineered a solution designed specifically to harness those visual strengths. It wasn’t just code; it was a research-backed platform built to unlock independence.

The impact was real. Through the dedication of his teachers and family—supported by technology that finally met his needs—Oriel thrived. Today, he is proudly employed as a member of the culinary team at Marriott.
